Optical Movement Pillow Cover
The Optical Movement Pillow Cover was created as a personal challenge. I wanted to see how much optical activity I could get with only 4 yarn colors. I created the design and was thrilled to see that juxtaposing diagonal lines created the illusion of so many more than 4 colors. As color maestro Josef Albers says “We experience the fact that color and seeing color depends on its juxtaposition with other colors, its shape, its placement, and especially upon its quantity. All of which is to say that any one color has innumerable looks.”
The Optical Movement Pillow Cover is knitted in the USA with sustainable fibers. Pillow insert not included.
